What Is a Waterfall Edge Countertop?
This cool countertop design takes a 90-degree angle to run off the counter’s edge, resulting in no gap between the top and side. Essentially, instead of there being a distinct stop, the counter descends along the side of your islands or cabinets to create a seamless look. You can create this look in a variety of materials, from marble to granite to quartz. It’s a great design for modern kitchens!
Not only does a waterfall edge countertop make for a unique, eye-catching focal point in your kitchen, but they’re also functional. Corners take a lot of abuse, and since waterfall edges are comprised of strong materials covering all corners, a host of damage is prevented.
